Our people

Tristan Waters – Managing Director

“If a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right”.

This is a mantra that first started when Tristan worked as a labourer. Since then, the pursuit of quality has been carried throughout his career to his role as Director of Triswat.

A graduate of the Australian National University, Tristan holds a wealth of experience in a wide range of practical fields. With over 10 years construction and management experience, he has the knowledge and skills to manage your next project.

Following his studies at the ANU, Tristan sought a position at Renew Building in their commercial division where he was able to hone his managerial experience. During this time he was head hunted by Metro Constructions and appointed Project Engineer. Since then Tristan has managed well over 200 projects both locally and nationally and enjoys a well regarded professional standing in the ACT community – having personally delivered a number of highly visible developments including the Forde Shopping Centre and Forde Childcare Centre. His residential projects have also achieved record-setting sales prices in both Griffith and Wright.

Now, as project manager, Tristan invests significantly in planning and understands the need to be agile, flexible and responsive in the dynamic industry that is construction. His determination, hard work, and absolute devotion to quality are what set him, and the company, apart.

Since 2009, Triswat has grown substantially as a company and in 2014 was a finalist in the Master Builders Awards in the ACT.
